Luxia was out looking for the two witches who had been reported by Altano.
On her way, she stumbled upon a strange entrance leading to a pond isolated from everything.
At the end of this pond was a house with two women, a mother and her child.
After that, Luxia came back to report to Altano...
Helàs, Altano had completely fallen, he had turned against his own and had killed everyone except the archivist.
Luxia, followed him to the Standar’s Beacon, where he summoned Molag Bal in dragon form.
Molag Bal killed Altano and proposed to Luxia to join him, she refused and confronted Molag Bal.
She manages to defeat her and repel her but Altano succumbs to her wounds.

Bad timing to be at odds with the Dawnguard, they could really make themselves useful there. Backup never hurts in a situation like this, even if one is as powerful as Luxia. After all "There is always a bigger fish." (Or worse a massive swarm of smaller one, fighting a shark while being nibbled at by piranhas, anyone?)
