Being the knowing avatar of an entity called The Player has many advantages for the Dragonborn.  The relationship between her and this mysterious deity is largely symbiotic - she is the instrument through which His will is made manifest in the world of Tamriel; although the Player has absolute authority over all that happens in this dimension, on His home plane He is but one amongst billions.

One quiet starlight night at camp, an event happened that illustrated the power of this union.  The Dragonborn sat in the warmth of the fire, looking up at the countless points of light spread across the heavens.  She could feel a shared vibration of the awe she felt, at that place where their souls were tethered.  

After a while it faded.  Looking through the eyes of His avatar for a time, The Player had compared the universe he saw to the strange skies of his own world.  To the eyes of a God, they seemed...  Lacking in detail?

The Dragonborn perceived the change as almost miraculous; it took only a blink of time as she knew it.  While there had been many stars visible before, it had almost seemed as if one could count them given a lifetime.  Now it was almost impossible to even know where to start; some of the shared feeling of wonder returned...

"The movie Bruce Almighty - that's what it's like; the addictive quality of mods."  The Player thought to himself as he concluded the introduction to another Sea of Stars.  "Being a part of the game, but being able to change it and the people in it however you please."

Kind of like a sexier form of Bonsai?

Some say "The sky's the limit"; for The Player, changing the skies of Tamriel was one of the first steps...
