Fiona felt bad for Ada and offered to help her get closure. The lovable robot accepted her help and followed the group back to Sanctuary. Once they were there, she explained her plan to Fiona. The mechanist's bots were all over the Commonwealth. They had to have the necessary hardware to access her lair. The plan was to pry that hardware from them, by force if necessary.

 

Fiona and the gang set out to do just that, and pretty soon they were that much closer to getting to the Mechanist's lair. Ada told them their next stop would be the rust devils headquarters. They set out and arrived shortly. The gang cleaned the place up and proceeded to search the place for the hardware they were looking for. Fiona stumbled upon a woman being held there against her will.
