Just discovered your blog, and so jumping on the bandwagon. Yet, even without knowing the rest of the story, one can appreciate the effort not only of making the dialogues as comic bubbles, but also of creating a full fledged comic layout, with a background. The panels structure don't vary a lot though (2x3 with occasional fusion of the two first or two last panels), but it's efficient. And so is the screenshooting most of the time, with crisp and colored images. The facial expressions are somewhat uneven, varying between perfect and definitely overdone, but that's one of the sims' challenge as a storymaking too. Also appreciated the slice of life scenario, however uncomplicated it was.

And since we're into the technicalities, here's a tip (from the club's tutorials) to get your image displayed in full width, if you're interested :

And finally some tips to get a better display of your wisely compressed and freshly uploaded images :

 a - Full width

To get an image to use all the width available on your blog's page, you musn't use the inbuild image insert function, but code it manually :

1 - type this code

2 - Type this code right afterwards

[/img]

3 - Paste your image's url inbetween the two codes you just typed. In case you don't know what it is, go to your image host, click on your image => share => direct link.

4 - Enjoy your max width image :classic_cool:

I wouldn't not recommend use it unless you also turn to JPEG instead of PNG however, since otherwise there would be a hit on the loading times.

Anyway, nice work ! :D

Hey! Thanks for the feedback & advice. I'll look into trying the image hosting in a future instalment. Perhaps another standalone/non-comic set, to start, as it's a bit of a nightmare trying to upload 50+ images through LL's media manager.

AFAIK things didn't change a lot since the last list of safe image-hosts was made. But yeah, LL's hosting didn't lost a lot of content so far, but those had an impact on its speed at some point, and not sure how much of that data would be saved in case of platform change. Not to mention the upload system wasn't made to upload large images amounts simultaneously.

Anyway, you're welcome ! :D
