Here by the front door of Vlindrel Hall, I added an anvil and armor workbench.

Here I've used the Positioner to add some bedrolls in the living room area, close to the main bedroom and pantry...

In the enchanting room/armory, I used the Positioner to add a grindstone. Now Solana doesn't have to run over to Ghorza's shop as often...

I also used the Positioner to add a few of these classy benches in the living room area.

As you can see, I've used the Positioner to add two bedrolls and a bench to this side of the living area. This clutter doesn't take up much space and coupled with My Home Is Your Home, I can set sleeping hours and guard responsibilties for followers when Solana is away. Since I haven't finished Dawnguard yet, I can use my followers to help protect the citizens of Markarth from vampire attacks at night.

Nice thing about these bedrolls... Followers can walk over them if they need to or just lay down to sleep when they are scheduled to.
