  1. Paul Auster - (Feb 3, 1947 - April 30th, 2024) Wrote the best book about fate, poker and building a wall. (The Music Of Chance)
  2. Lol!. (nearly fell but cheered up my day)
  3. If you open up in xEdit the the author might of put their name in the author field which you could then cross reference with a nexus search. If you are lucky they might have also filled out the description field. That said while you are there just look at what it's adding, (weapons, armor, etc). (Just a thought). Sorry me idiot and didn't read all the words in the O/P.
  4. Or 10 seconds with a bot ( https://deepai.org/chat ) ------------ Every time I load up SKSE I keep getting error messages treating me that I need to update Address Library even though I have the latest version installed. Don't know why I keep getting this problem. ------------ There could be several reasons why you are receiving this error message even though you have the latest version of Address Library installed. Here are a few possible solutions you can try: Make sure you have installed the Address Library correctly. Sometimes, improper installation can cause issues. Reinstall the Address Library and ensure that it is installed in the correct directory. Check to see if there are any conflicting mods or software that could be causing the error. Disable any mods that may be interfering with the Address Library. Verify the version of SKSE you are using. Make sure that it is compatible with the version of Address Library you have installed. If they are not compatible, try using an older version of SKSE that is compatible with your current Address Library. Update all of your mods and software to the latest versions. This may resolve any compatibility issues that are causing the error message. Reach out to the mod author or the SKSE support team for further assistance. They may be able to provide more specific guidance on how to resolve the issue. Overall, troubleshooting mod-related issues can be complex, but by following these steps, you may be able to resolve the error message you are encountering.
  5. I am going to say, (unless you don't have the fortitude and resolve to circumvent some issues), the GOG version. Download it from the installer option, (not Galaxy), Install the admittedly alpha, (but in my experience OK), Pandora Behaviour Engine for animations into your load out, (rather than FNIS or Nemesis). Get it to a point which is comfortable for you loadoutwise, and that's it. No need to worry about sneaky updates that break things and if there are newer things which you might want it's fairly easy to check the consensus of online opinion as to whether that is for you or not within the confines of your game. Build the game from your needs not the suspect needs of the developer.
  6. O.J. Simpson. A great athlete and performer.
  7. If you are feeling experimental give "Pandora Behaviour Engine Plus" ( https://github.com/Monitor144hz/Pandora-Behaviour-Engine-Plus ) as an alternative to FNIS/Nemesis. It seems quite good. I didn't do anything special to install into MO2. Just the usual add executable thing. (also created a blank module called "PANDORA BEHAVIOUR OUTPUT" for the output - but I don't think you actually need to do that) Run it from MO2, Press the big long obvious button. Let it churn for a few second and bobs your aunty. MO2 Settings if interested:->
  8. Good grief. This is good. (Well from my fiddling with it on my two builds). Was worried it wouldn't work on Windows 7. But seems to be fine for my purposes. No more Nemesis and it's "nah! just going to crash for no good reason during generation" functionality,
  9. You should be able to use "Backported Extended ESL Support" ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/106441 ) for the latest version of this - even though it's purpose was for the extended esl support, it also copes with the new header version for common esp's.
  10. Firstly search engines have been crap for about six years now. (Fairly sure I posted something to this point when an exact description for a Nexus page didn't get the right result). Secondly mechanisms have been attached to the search engines, (and by extension the browser), itself to filter the search, (by default 'safe'). eg 😆 Look at the options, (however deeply they are hidden), to turn that off to get the results you want. (Also they just doesn't filter 'adult' stuff, but also things they deem problematic.)
  11. As above said, (and they did). There isn't any sort of virus attached to that zip file. It contains a 'esp' module and some compiled pex files which are only executable within the in game engine, (plus some text files for the scripts to those pex files - so you can see what they are doing). The game itself is so retarded it doesn't provide functionality to effect your gaming system through useful things like writing to a folder/directory or anything else.
  12. Or you could have just used "Backported Extended ESL Support" ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/106441 ) and been future proofed for all you modern download needs.
  13. I suspect because SE can either mean AE without creation kit gubbins or 1.5.97 depending on who you are talking too. That aside, what you need if using a Skyrim version version less than 1.6.1170 but wanting to use an esl which has been created with a 1.6.1170 creation kit is "Backported Extended ESL Support" ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/106441 ). You'll probably need this for all new future stuff you download anyway regardless of how it's labelled or downloaded from.
  14. In xEdit, (i.e. SSEdit in your case) (Press 'F2' on the field next to 'DESC - Book Text' to edit it). However for editing text in books zEdit, ( https://github.com/z-edit/zedit/releases ) is nicer to work with as it allows you to edit the text in a multi-line field, rather than the one line field you get in xEdit. (zEdit is basically the same as xEdit but written in a different language by people who didn't like pascal. I prefer xEdit for everything other than editing text in books). (ps Thinking about it I seem to remember that the xEdit edit field is limited to 256 characters, which is another reason to use zEdit for that particular task).
  15. Don't attribute to malice that which is probably just incompetence.
