Need help after removing HDT Heels dependency

I'm a novice modder and have watched the video on how to remove HDT Heels dependency on boots and heels. I did that for a handful of mods, but now the footwear sinks through the floor/ground. In nifskope, it even shows half of the boots going through the ground. Is there a way I can get the footwear to raise to ground level without adding a heel effect? I'm guessing I do this with nifskope, but how? Sorry if this is really obvious, but like I said, I'm a novice modder. Thank you for your time

Thanks for your reply! I've seen that video before but didn't realize there were subtitles for it. It's great this works, but I'm looking for the footwear not to sink into the ground and to be at ground level WITHOUT adding a heel effect. I can't seem to get the video's method to work for the Psychic Seraphim Armor or even regular Seraphim Armor. They're pretty much my favorite armor sets for females.

Oh, sorry. I thought you were looking to convert hdt heels to NIOverride. I'm not sure how I missed that.

Honestly, I can't think of any way to do what you want without completely re-shaping the meshes themselves. If you simply lift the shoe meshes up so their soles/heels are at ground level, but don't also lift up the character wearing them, the shoes are just going to clip through the ankles and calves. You'd have to either change the shape of the shoes and included feet entirely, or edit the shape of the legs somehow, which would probably mean adding the shoes into the main armour piece you wanted to wear them with and shortening the legs. All of that is way beyond my skill or knowledge I'm afraid.

I appreciate the help. Although the person who made the Sotteta Necromancer set made a non-hdt heel version that I'm guessing like you said, shortened the leg part? I'm wondering why the mod author didn't release a non-hdt version for his other armors like Cassandra Frost Witch, Merta Black Rose and Gwelda Riding Hood. The Special Edition versions are non-hdt heel dependent, yet seem to not sink into the ground or raise the character's height. It would be nice if these versions were available for LE.
