Has there been a mod that adds the Mesmetron gun and its effect?

I have not seen one, as yet.  This may be due to the Syringer playing a similar role in FO4.... or it could be that many of us have forgotten the mesmatron (I did :)) 

 

That being said, I could see having a lot of fun with this in FO4 - it would not be unreasonable to have this be an Institute item or perhaps someone brought one with them from the left coast.

Same name, different model - this one has weapon mods that fire Mesmatron rounds - https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/12139 - apparently this one actually fires the same rounds that RoboBrains fire, which is listed as a mesmatron round in the CK.  It disorientes the target, like a stagger.  Not quite the same as the FO3 slavery version.

Looks like there is room for a right and proper mod here
