nehaberlan Posted May 15, 2018 Posted May 15, 2018 Hi, After a teamwork effort, we created the project named "Kalena Rios Transsexual Follower". Kalena Rios Transsexual Follower Right now, I want to try create a save game (at Level 81 for example that I've already have a saved one...) for Kalena Rios as a PC. I want to import Kalena's all character specifications, items, armors, add-ons, body and face specifications, etc... I googled for "converting from NPC to PC", unfortunately I could just find "NPC to NPC" or "PC to NPC" conversions. If you can help me anyway, I'll appreciate. If it is a really long procedure, maybe you can direct me towards few tutorials about it. If it is a simple thing, it's great... Nehaberlan...
PlayerKiller Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 For the face it's relatively easy with RaceMenu, here's the tutorial I used https://youtu.be/MGpnugyCOyk If you don't use Racemenu its almost the same thing with ECE, copy the head nif, facegen and textures from the mod folder and paste it into the correct ECE directory, I forgot exactly where since it's been along time since I used it so I could be wrong. Alternatively you could load Kalena into your save and use Alternate Actors found on the Nexus to save their face onto yours using ShowRaceMenu. As for the body I would get the details from the ESP and try to match the height, weight from there.
RW311 Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 Making this into an option you can access through character creation is not to difficult, find a tutorial on creating a custom playable race and how to handle the compatibility issues. Where your npc has the body and sos added in the WNAM worn armor, just add that to WNAM skin of the new race and you will now be able to use the body and sos addon. The head maybe a little more of a trick but since your npc used a breton race just duplicate that race as your starting point and you won't have to change anything other than the WNAM skin, well and the name and id of the race. Getting the same head as the npc is not a problem in racemenu as PlayerKiller points out you can import it from the existing facegen mesh of the npc. Adding items and armors, either use console commands or create a script to add them to inventory. However, making this into something you can switch to mid game is going to be more of a challenge because switching races on existing character will reset your player and generally break most quests. This would have to be a scripted race change scenario like vampirism to avoid the other major problems with mid game race changes and that does add a new layer of complexity to how you create the race.
nehaberlan Posted May 16, 2018 Author Posted May 16, 2018 Thank you all... I'm gonna check and try them...
