Quick question about modding and armor slots

I'm doing a patch atm on an armor mod, that use some body slots that I know are commonly in certain LL mods.

 

I'm wondering if making a nif combining all armor parts and make them use only one body slot is better or if I should not and only combine them with an armo record with multiple arma refs.

 

So here it is, what's the LL community opinion about it?
