Save the game and one of the dudes...CTD??!

OK so I can play the Alt start route, right now I'm just starting in the river wood inn and then going to Helgen and trying to save one of the two guys there, but after I save one of them and try to exit the cave, my game CTD...I can enter and exit the cave fine until i save once of them and then boom goes the dynamite...can anyone help me on this?
