WolfGear Posted May 5, 2018 Posted May 5, 2018 Hi! This is my first post in this part of the forum and I hope guys you can help me I've been playing Fallout 4 for less than a week? I think, I already have 72 hours played, according to the game, and this happen! Dx Sin título.mp4 There's an annoying workbench sound on my character, I've been searching and I find that there's an similar bug but with the followers, and that it fix making the follower use the workbench again, and as you can see, when I use the workbench and I stop the sound it's gone, but I move away from it and the sound returns, even when I travel to another location it happen! I don't know what to do, I try to go back to a previus save game but sadly I don't have one. When this start to happen? Well I was playing the quest "Hunter hunted" and one fucking character shotme with a missile launcher, but I have the surrender mod, that make you character be sexually abused, so I didn't die and I kept playing and I I thought that the sound was cause there's was a machine close or something like that. I finished the quest, I went back to Red rocket and well you seen the rest. I even went back where everything started, and I used the only machine in the place and it didn't work! So that's the story, I don't know what to do, I don't want to lower the sound effect, it breaks the immersion, and I can't go back to an previus save before the bug happen, the last one say that I have only 24 hours and a little more playing, I don't know what to do
AWP3RATOR Posted May 6, 2018 Posted May 6, 2018 That sounds like the geiger counter on the Pip-Boy or a the sound when taking damage from the gamma gun. Getting stuck in sound loops is something of a glitch in FO4. The solution generally involves figuring out what caused the sound in the first place, then triggering that sound again. Usually, when the sound triggers again, it ends correctly. What you seem to be hearing is a looped effect because that sound was interrupted. This can happen during a surrender event. When surrendered and noticed this sound, were you being attacked by Children of Atom or other actors using gamma guns?

This happen when I was fighting with a guy with my gamma gun when he shot me with a rocket launcher! I just equipped the gun and holstered it again and the sound went away! Thank you very much! You saved me from that horrible sound! I thought it was the workbench because it sounded like a machine turning on, and the constant noise sounded like it was the sewing machine on the armor workbench. I had really forgotten how the gamma gun sounded, again many thanks! You saved my 70+ hours of game! <3
