FoxLotus Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 I recently downloaded GK followers and GK Dark Elf Followers. ID's register in console, but NPCs do not appear when using console player.placeatme ID as well, not showing up at marked locations in Skyrim. Now the modders description (even when translated) seem rather vague an slightly confusing. No actual listed mod requirements, other than saying for purpose of image posting using 4k purelight skin textures an listing parameters used for textures/ENB. So I'm a little confused as to why the mod isn't functioning (nor have I had any replies within the weeks time of inquiring on both mod pages). I'm using H-AIO UNPB body with 4k Demoniac skin textures + Caffeine ENB, which is essentially snapdragon settings fused with Rudy settings). Since the standalone has it's own mesh/texture files as well skeleton_female.nif, perhaps I could swap those (or some) out with files from my existing mesh/skeleton files in my mod list that do work for defining my other followers as well character. Would this work? Pointers? *Edit update I pulled the skeleton from my XP32 SME folder an replaced the skeleton in the follower mesh with it. The NPC now appears when using console command.
Guest Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 Mh. If with the console you cannot place at you the Actor, then the actor is not working for some reasons. I recommend to try to open it in CK to check if the actor can be rendered and has all depending mods and masters available. Then, if CK does not load it, I will check what parts are failing, but that is really advanced modding. A quick check is to try to open the mod with TES5Edit and check for errors or missing masters.

I'm guessin the 2 mods came with a different skeleton.nif that was incompatible with XP32 an H-AIO 3.3. Replacing the skeleton.nif from the GK folders with a copy of XP32 SME seems to have remedied the issue. The GK Dark Elves now appear with placement. So far they are working now.
Uncle64 Posted May 5, 2018 Posted May 5, 2018 You can also try this small mod, that do what you want and you dont need to mess whit console for finding npc. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/79123/ Get Over Here Way better then messing whit console. Update, you should use the skeleton that comes whit xpms32 instead of the one that comes whit AIO 3.3/4

Update, you should use the skeleton that comes whit xpms32 instead of the one that comes whit AIO 3.3/4 I don't have much issues with finding NPCs or things via console. As for skeleton, XPMS32 already overwrites AIO 3.3 in my mod order. The GK Followers were not being overwritten by XPMS32 oddly enough, even after LOOT ordering. Double checking to ensure plugins were ordered with XPMS32 as last in order (which according to the tutorials an STEP guides with MO should overwrite anything listed before) I just replaced the skeleton_female.nif that was in the GK followers mod folder with a copied replacement from XPMS32. They're working now. Thanks for the response, you ladies/gents are faster than the Nexus page users. *feels the love*
