wicked whims The Sims 4 Wicked Whims Animations

I am a Mac user and my wicked whims animation downloads keep downloading as exec files and aren't working in the game. I cant figure out how to fix it. I've tried everything and it seems they arent downloading correctly. They are .package files but not the right file icon. Please help.

But do they work? Is it important that they look like that?

I would recommend looking this up yourself on Google or asking on a general Sims forum since here it might be difficult to find someone who would know.
