[REL] DM Phat Maid

Help not needed.

I've been trying to recreate the outfit pictured in the gif below.

It's been kicking around for a while now, but never released AFAIK.

Now, my modding skills are minimal, limited to crude and dirty mash-ups with possibly some light re-texing.

So far I have this.

v0.1

v0.1.1 - Proposed neck frill

PhatMaid005_zpsc0cb8902.png

v0.1.2 - Provisional boots

PhatMaid007.png

v0.2 - Standard DM added

PhatMaidStandard02.png

v1.0 - Final

DONE

Big props to greg for general support (and possible boots) and to Thorazine for taking the time and effort to tweak what needed tweaking.

Thanks guize.

I would think some sort of low boot or high heeled shoe would fit in with the outfit nicely.

I personally think the shoulder frills look a might silly.

As to the harness, yea unless someone can fix it with blender it looks pretty bad. I can use the crap out of nifskope but I have not put enough time into blender yet to be able to do much.

I actually like your skirt better than the pictures.

Great job mashing up something so quickly! :)

I've added a neck frill (v0.1.1) to get the feel of how it looks. The Kurese one is far too big and clips through the shoulder frills, so I've plumped for the one from Xelus' Amy outfit.

However, not sure I like how it obscures the upper part of the harness.

Thoughts?

Thanks for the feedback greg! Do you have any particular boot or shoe in mind?

The floating shoulder frills do look weird, but note the neck frill bridges the gap somewhat.

Dunno, maybe the reason it was never released was cos of such problems.

I do like the neck frill but the shoulder frill still seems strange to me. If you like it then leave it as it is easy enough to delete for those that don't. :)

You could delete the studs on the harness since they are going to be hidden by the neck frill (I "think" those were already separated items).

Here are some boots that I thought might be appropriate but feel free to pick something else. High heels might also look good although they certainly wouldn't be anything near practical...:P

I can help with the harness thing' date=' does it clip when your moving? Or all the time?

Cool thanks! I'll package the files up for you and upload to the thread. The harness clips at all times, both below the ribcage and below the throat (check the v0.1 screenies).

Nice one! I'll try them out.

For some reason in my minds eye I kind of imagine vicious high heeled lace-up knee boots with frills going well with this outfit. Maybe that's just me...

Hey, it is your mashup, so do whatever appeals most to you! So far it looks tasty, so I am certain that whatever you decide will look great.

I am not certain I have any to the knee, lace up boots with high heels. I will have to look through my files. If I find something along those lines I will post it.

Best of luck to you,

Greg

Thanks man, I'll do the same, could be a while, so many files...

Wanted to post an update but having issues with the boots you attached, some ugly clipping around the calf with the legs I'm using. Trying to find a pair of "boot-ready" LL legs that cut off beneath the knee.

May have to go down the shoe route if I can't.

If anyone has a pair of legs like this please let me know... ;)

Cool thanks Thorazine, that's kind of non-comittal... ;)

Added some boots, which I am sort of okay with.

They're Rose Outfit boots from the Apachi Goddess Store which I tried to recolour, although the roses came out unintentionally gold.

There's v0.1.2 download there too now if any of you Blenderers want something to crack on with.

Took a quick look at what you currently have, only thing I noticed (so far) is some slight clipping with the skirt, but it's probably not all that noticeable unless you're looking for it.

Looking good so far. Any plans to add/change anything?

Take a look at the harness as it clips pretty badly just below the breasts. It really is a cool mashup!

Ok, so maybe I forgot something. :P Though, I could argue that it was already a known issue and I decided not to point it out again. :D

Here's what I'm seeing (oddly enough, it likes to rain in my game):

Three options for the strap that goes between the breasts: Leave it alone, get rid of it (just the strap, but keep the rest of the harness), or adjust it to where it fits over everything. I have an idea or two to try for option three, but I won't know till I get it into blender. The strap going through the skirt should be an easy fix.

Hello! Sorry, Fifa 13.

Anyway, final steps planned are small ones.

I may create a couple of final versions. I've spotted a thicker collar on the Dancing Shadow Rose outfit so I may try this, plus the frilly version with spikes removed.

Then, create a menu icon, generate credits+readme, do ppl need an esp?

Thorazine, option 3 sounds grand if you're up for it.

Hope to have an update soonish, dunno, just bought DOA5 too so...

It'd be a good idea to create an .esp. Had to cobble one together so I could get it in game.

Here's the first attempt to option three:

Worked out better than I thought it would. Decided to get rid of the ring the strap was attached to and move the strap to the other ring. More than likely going to revert that change due to weighting issues distorting that ring. I'll wait till I have my hands on the next update before I make another attempt.

Good stuff! But dude' date=' I think that the harness (the section where it twists) is supposed to nestle between the breasts?

Certainly this is how it appears in Brideyna's original.

Would like to ask whether there is a plan to produce normal breast shape version?

Thank you!

Hadn't really considered it. Maybe, if the cards fall right.

Edit: Wait, did you mean normal shaped DM or other cup size?

So picky. :P I didn't focus on that part all that much, but I'll try to get it as close as I can for the next version.

Is normal shaped DM not squashed breast shape, cup size unchanged

Thank you for your reply!

Sorry I...just happen to like the nestling between the breasts.

Unsquashed DM? Should be fairly straightforward, if I have the nif somewhere.

Version 0.2 have been create! Check opening post for detail.

This is pretty much all there now.

Added standard DM (non-phat) body version.

Added esp

Added menu icons

Added gnd item

Removed metal spikes

The collision box on the gnd item is a bit weird, but that's only because I don't know what I'm doing.

Thoradude, if you want to do your thing, this is pretty much the final version of the mod content-wise.
