AgentCarolina Posted April 14, 2018 Posted April 14, 2018 Like the title says, i am VERY confused. Before i had two monitors, one was 1080p and the other was 1400x900 everything was fine until i shut down my computer and plugged in the news monitor. Now, NMM won't launch. Nothing shows in task manager but my mouse changes to the hourglass before going back to normal not even six seconds after the click
AgentCarolina Posted April 14, 2018 Author Posted April 14, 2018 Now i realzie nothing works well, discord refuses to open as well
Fifoo Posted April 14, 2018 Posted April 14, 2018 Your system must still have the old settings present from your old monitor in your hardware configuration. Check this: Control Panel [your Graphic Card] - Display - select the new displays to use. This is for Win7Pro but if you have Win10 go to the usual fields. Last step: Control Panel - System - Device Manager - Go to the top band of the window next to "File" and "Action", click "View" and select: "Show Hidden Devices". Go to "Monitors" and expand the branch to see if you do not have an old driver still installed, it will be grayed, right-click on it and select: "Uninstall". Reboot your system. For NMM see this link: NMM / Nexus Mod Manager won't launch / start, no error (Possible solution) For Discord you will need to have access to your User settings and/or Apps settings pane. If you can't deinstall and reinstall Discord. But do a system backup first. Hope this helps.
