rollergirlkirsty Posted April 12, 2018 Posted April 12, 2018 New to modding does anyone know of a guide that shows install order to get the DD mods working with the animations? Alongside the Captured dreams shop?
Nightmyste Posted April 12, 2018 Posted April 12, 2018 google is your friend in this case. but since you're new, the best way to learn is to follow the install guide almost all mods have in their description ad of course, here's one of the better guides I found: http://wiki.step-project.com/Main_Page good luck and have fun.

Nazzzgul666 Posted April 14, 2018 Posted April 14, 2018 Not a guide but something you should keep in mind: There are two orders, install order and load order. Depending on the mods & what they change, usually only one of both is important but both can be at times. For a proper load order using LOOT is highly recommended and will do most for you, although for some mods manual tweaks might be necessary. For install order, in general you have to install last what you want to "win" the conflict, i.e if you install several mods changing some textures and 2 or more change the textures for houses for example, the one you want to make the final change has to be last. Same for patches for mods - first the basic mod, then the patch. The most common mistake regarding install order is that something overwrites your skeleton, always install xpmse last, reinstall in case of doubt or if you use MO move it down on the left panel, there you can change install order by drag & drop and it will show you any conflicts and which mod wins it. Fro everything else than xpmse the rule of thumb is: first the basic requirements, then the advanced requirements, then the mod you actually want.
