Now you can make a little extra cash, just by lying on your back performing the oldest profession.

 

This is a new update to the mod created by Callipygic, later updated and improved by Gaebrial. Links to both of their mods listed further below in this file.

 

Gaebrial offered a number of improvements to the original,  with some modifications made by Manzor.   The primary change was the addition of an INI file that lets you control nearly all mechanical aspects of the system.  Along with that, Gaebrial also performed  a thorough job of cleaning the scripts  and overhauled all of the dialog while expanding the system to include male prostitution.

 

This new version of Lover Hooker  is very much different from the original,  in that all of the sex poses that were hardwired within the mod are now set within a brand new INI file.  This new LoversHookerPoses.Ini file is smaller by comparison, but much desired if those that update the Lovers Package alter the poses used.

 

** If the LoversHookerPoses.Ini is not found,  it will generate random poses in   place of the missing ones.

 

This is an error prevention feature. This version also includes a special hidden flag  that is applied to the player during sex, this flag used only when engaged in prostitution and a flag that is detected by an upcoming LAPF Extended Patch mod. Meanwhile,  this version also includes a means  to detect other known mods that have prostitutes.  Thanks to this detection system, the NPC hookers and gigolos from the other mods will now turn down the player's services.

 

However,  other-mod prostitutes are not the only NPCs turned down.  Slaves that are generated from LoversSlaveTrader will no longer attempt to make an approach and cannot be solicited.  Likewise, the system detects and uses the latest version of HiyokoClub  and may prevent Hiyoko from engaging with the player.  This new feature is able to be configures within the latest .ini file.

To install, copy the contents (.esp, .bsa, OBSE/Plugin folder and ini folder) into your game's data folder.  The system now uses custom spell icons which it can display with the accompanying .obme.dlls in the OBSE folder.

 

It comes with the same LoversHooker patch  for LoversAdultPlayPlusforSSP as does Gaebriel's.  Include it too.    Just make sure the SSP patch loads after Lovers Hooker.

If having issues with other mods using the OBSE,  the removal of the OBME Dlls within the OBSE/Plugins folder should correct this. The OBME dlls may not work well with OBSE 1.8 or older.  However, removal will eliminate the custom spell icon.

( https://www.loverslab.com/topic/953-daily-income-for-loversadultplayplusplusforssp-10/ or https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/40484/ ).   This mod gives NPCs a income depending upon their faction, rank, social class and city of residence.  Without this mod,  most NPCs,  including those supposedly wealthy ones,  will only have a small amount of gold with which to purchase your services.

The usual beautification mods.   A sexy walks mod  (Mur-zik is my favourite so far). And a slutty clothes mod (I really like Colourwheels stuff).

The AdultPlay patch isn't compatible with the changes you've made. It reverts most, if not all of the dialogue choices back to the original way of setting up the animations.

 

I have a fixed esp here if you want to test it and include it in the next version

It has only one LoversAdultPlayPlusforSSP Topic  "Hey, I need to ask you something..." , wtih 4 dialogues.  ( and one Hooker script)

No LoversHookers dialogues with sex positions (numbers) in the Patch esp.

This is rather odd to say the least.  The Hooker Patch I have in the download is the original  "normal" HookerPatch as Fejeena just so suggested.

 

It is the same Hooker Patch that I used when I tested all the LoversHookers conditions. 

 

I did not create nor was required to create any patch, this patch merely adding the dialogs for the hooker (you) to attempt to solicit the NPC.  As the patch doesn't affect poses, and only adds the option as Fejeena described,  there should be no reversions as you've mentioned.

Ah, that makes sense.

 

I agree that Dukky's version has the LAPF compat version, while the original 2.51 lovershooker patch is probably the correct one to use as the new dialogues have the function calls to get the poses instead of the preset poses in the LAPF compat version.

 

The only difference in the MainHookers script is that the hooker dialogue isn't offered when first greeting the npc, and is instead inside the primary dialogue topic of AdultPlay

This mod has a toggle in the menu to force the chargen quest to complete, Is this required to be able to use the mod(eg. no approaches unless chargen is completed)? I was trying out https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/45890?tab=posts&BH=2 as a possible alternate start mod and it looks like it suspends the char gen quest indefinitely unless you actively start the main quest through the mod. Wondering exactly what the toggle is for if you know.

The Hooker system only becomes active when you first solicited yourself to an NPC.  Until then, the hooker system and your raising of hooker ranks will not begin.  And at the same time, you are not recognized as a hooker by the NPCs until your first completed hooker sex session.  No one will approach you and ask for your services.

 

At the same time, Lovers Hooker will typically prevent anyone from approaching you until the CharGen quest (the tutorial quest up until the exit of the sewers) has been completed. Granted, you must become a hooker first and approach someone to start this.  But it would be rather unorthodox for the Emperor's blades to ask for your services once you become a hooker whilst on duty to protect him from the Mythic Dawn.  Only after the CharGen quest has been completed will this preventative stopguard be released.

 

The toggle you mention deactivates this stopguard and allows NPCs to ask for your wares before the CharGen quest is done. 

 

I have seen mods that allow you to bypass the CharGen quest, giving one an easy escape from the Imperial Dungeon with the required equipment and allowing you to set your class and birthsign.  However, if one does not set these and does not possess the Amulet of Kings on exit, the CharGen quest will not be flagged as completed.  So with some of these mods, you could actually leave the dungeons and wander Tamriel without finishing the CharGen quest... and ergo, the toggle would need to be used.

 

The mod you present looks interesting, and appears to start the game before even starting the CharGen quest.  So yes, you may present yourself as a Hooker.  But unless you use the toggle, no one will approach you for your hooker services until you get arrested and escape the dungeons.

One more question about the toggle is that is it mod specific, so that it allows approaches through lovers hooker  only even though the char gen quest is not technically completed, or does it actually affect the game itself as a whole, so that the game itself reacts as if the chargen quests has completed? Just curious because if it marks it as complete for the whole game, it might break some of the functionality of the alternate start mod, making impossible to complete the start quest even if arrested in imperial city,

The hooker system checks only for the completion of the vanilla Oblivion CharGen quest to be completed -OR- if the toggle was enacted.  These are options that it checks to prevent approaches.  However, the system does block approaches under other 'quest' conditions within Oblivion where it would not be appropriate.

 

The only way I can foresee it breaking other start quest mods is if you get so many hookups, you either can't continue or have ended up walking funny.      Yeaaahh... nope.  Shouldn't break anything.

Well.....  I was looking for an excuse to update this thread.  I so wanted to add a HookerGirl screenshot to the main post and add a Quest Icon and Custom Spell Icon now that I know how to use the OBME system.  Thankies!

  I have just done a cursory check and playthrough and I believe I know what cause (or causes) that may be the result. The first cause unlikely but possible, and the second an educated guess.  But first, an explanation on LoversHooker's new sex position system, and why it was made:

 

 

  (Clears throat)... Ahem.  This updated version of LoversHooker has a new set of sex positions added and  a newer LoversHookerPoses.ini file that allows one to set or adjust the sex positions for each sex act; missionary, doggy, blowjob, etc.  The original version of LoversHooker had the sex positions hard-coded into the mod. And when the Lovers master package changed to the LAPF system we now use, all the older positions were completely off. Now that there is an INI file, any changes or modifications to LAPF and the animations used (or added) can be set in the INI file.

 

 

   Now, the possible causes.

 

The first cause could be that you added animation packages that do not match the sex positions use within the LAPF system.  Such packages would be akin to the Daedra Sutra.  The sex positions in the Daedra Sutra were ones that older mods such as Crowning Isles, Dark Bloodline (for which I wrote a fix) and LoversGGBlackmail had used, among others.  One could determine what the new sex positions for a blowjob are, and replace the positions in the LoversHookerPoses.ini file.    Right now, LoversHooker is using LAPF's sex position of 157 for a blowjob.  This could be changed.

 

 

The second cause of your issue is that you are using LoversAdultPlayPlusforSSP in tandem with LoversHooker and applied the SSP_HookerPatch.  Before you think "Should I have used the patch?" the answer is YES!!!!  However, I never bothered to check the patch until your error report and found it was using older sex position data.  In essence, the patch ... WAS...  out of date. and had older hooker sex commands with older sex positions hardwired in place.  And yes, I did in fact say "WAS" as I have now replaced the old code and uploaded it anew.

 

 

While this is not a BUMP to upgrade Lovers Hooker, this post is now indicating an update to the

LoversAdultPlayPlusforSSP_HookerPatch

to work with LoversHooker - Dukky Edition

from version 3.0 on up
