Ridding my character of Chin and neck shadows?

So I find that often when creating female characters in racemenu sometimes reducing the chin length is crucial to making them beautiful but the drawback, at least often I find, is an ugly dark smudge/shadow will start to become very apparent on the lower chin. it is as if by reducing chin length I am revealing a dark under texture inside the head. It begins to look like a goatee and that will not look good on a pretty girl haha. 

 

Have any of you experienced this, or found a way to get rid of it whether by fix, or covering it up somehow?
