Help needed - SKSE64 error with Skyrim SE

Recommended Posts

Posted

Just installed a few mods including SexLab for Skyrim SE using NMM.

Tried to load using SKSE and got the message:

You are using a newer version of Skyrim than this version of SKSE supports.
Runtime: 1.5.39
SKSE64: 2.0.6

I can't find any info on that runtime version.

Yes, SKSE worked fine before the mods...just trying to figure out where to go from here.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

your steam updated your game. if you dont have a copy of the previous version of your skyrimSE.exe, you've got to wait for skse64 being updated. Usualy it takes about a day

Hmm but for some reason, my NMM do not recognize the new version of skse64 and it still thinks i have skse2.0.6

I didn't know NMM had anything to do with skse64. There is a new version of LOOT, is that up to date?

Can you give me the official instructions on how to install skse? So far i install it in the way Gopher describes on his video. I install the loose files (.exe etc) in the skyrimSE main files and then the "data" through NMM

Maybe I'm doing it wrong but when I started I was told to drag and drop into the skyrim folder and that's what I've always done. To be honest, I don't have the attention span to watch that video.
