Guest Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 Hey I'm having an issue where my characters upper arms (mostly just the left arm) is deformed. It seems to happen whether i'm nude or with any outfit with the exception of DX outfits, which uses the perky unp body (So not the ones from Legendary Armors which uses bathsheba body) So I changed my character's nude body to perky unp via "unified unp" in bodyslide, but I still got the deformation in-game. But then I exported the body from the "cassandra frost mage DX" into a .nif and replaced my characters body mesh with it manually, an now my nude body suddenly looks fine in-game. (even tho in Outfit Studio its clearly the exact same body as perky unp)  I'm glad I at least fixed my nude body, but every other outfit including the bathsheba version of DX outfits still causes this problem. Which causes clipping issues when equipping pieces on arms  Any Ideal why this is happening or what I can do to fix it? Â

I'm really clueless as to why this happens. I'm using the SE version of UNP but what I did was install UNP TBBP from sundance from Oldrim and just optimize it and overwrite the SE UNP body. The problem disappears on nude body same as you but my clothing still gets the deformed left arm. Very strange.  I've tried everything, re-running fnis with the arm patch as usual, reinstalling skeleton, swapping idle anims, disabling my smashed patch, you name it. I'm too tired to try replace everything with UNPB right now but if I have any luck finding a solution I'll let you know. ?
Thelargir Posted August 28, 2019 Posted August 28, 2019 I also have this problem. Had it for so long now, that I've given up on finding a fix for it.
JackyHarg Posted April 22, 2023 Posted April 22, 2023 It's bad bone weighting. I tried to fix this myself but it requires a lot of time and patience to fiddle around with the bone weights since you have to apply them manually. As I noticed this issue gets worse the skinnier your character is.
JackyHarg Posted April 23, 2023 Posted April 23, 2023 Also if you want to eliminate the issue you have to use a different unp body mod as it was already brought up. Bhunp is also a mod that doesn't have this problem. And that's what I went with actually. I took out only the body and I'm using it for nude stuff.
