Keeping Mods Updated

I'm not sure if this topic has been talked about, but I was wondering if there was an easier way of knowing when the mods I have downloaded need an update. I've been saving the links to the mods I use on this website and then re-downloading them. Please tell me there is an easier way. Thank You!

mod organizer checks for updates... then just to click ... visit on nexus... download... substitute... gaming

This is Sims 4, not Skyrim/Fallout.

As to the OP, the main things that would need updating are game mods. Ones that alter the gameplay. Clothing, Skins, Objects, etc usually don't need updates. But things like UI Cheat Extensions or Faster Skills or others along those lines (including WickedWhims) need constant updates as older versions can break your game.

What I do is subscribe to these mods on ModTheSims and here on LL. This way you are notified if there ever is an update, then it's just simple copy/paste replace. And if the game updates and they haven't, either wait or remove it till it updates. With LoversLab, just follow the file. When you go to download, there is a button for Follow at the top right. Click that, say okay or whatever and you'll follow it. So whenever a new update arrives, you'll get a notification at the top letting you know.
