Modded Followers set to default head or are missing head entirely

So it seems that I've encountered a problem with installed followers, which may very well be due to having too many installed, though I wouldn't think it'd be an issue. Any time you go into a cell with an installed follower, their heads will default to I guess what seems to be the default Nord face in the character creator. I've searched around for solutions, and the only mentions of it don't seem to have an actual solution. The only way to get the faces to what they should be is entirely close Skyrim, and reload where the follower is, and it'll fix itself, but as soon as you go into any kind of loading screen, once you load in it'll be back to the default face. An example is attached of Kira Bear-Slayer with the issue.

 

Load order is attached, note that EFF was installed, and one of the possibilities mentioned in a previous request was something was overwriting follower files, namely UFO in their example, but after uninstalling EFF nothing changed.

Have done a complete reinstall, where the issue that I thought might have been the problem (The virtual folder was not on the same drive as the game) is not the case, and I'm currently at a loss for what the issue might be. The only mention ive seen before says that it has to do with weight changers, but I don't have anything that I know of that would do that. If the body randomizer is listed, ive uninstalled it for the reinstall.

So, idk why it didnt occur to me to trial/error plugins, but found out it was due to an outdated slavetats. So for the future, if someone is having this issue and has slavetats, check to make sure it is updated to the latest version.
