corsair2150 Posted March 22, 2018 Posted March 22, 2018 Hello, I am having an issue when attempting to install the Deviously Cursed Loot mod. I have it downloaded and in Nexus Mod Manager however, when I try to install and activate, it says: The specified path, file name, or both are too long. The fully qualified file name must be less than 260 characters, and the directory name must be less than 248 characters. The mod was not installed. Â My file path is 39 characters long and the filename certainly isn't 260 characters long. How can I fix this? Â I've got almost all the mods I want for the moment installed and all their dependencies rooted out.
RohZima Posted March 22, 2018 Posted March 22, 2018 Just the file name isn't it? Go to the actual file in nexus mod manager mods folder and reduce the name significantly of the actual file

Should I put the file directly into the NMM directory? It has a folder titled Skyrim.  I have all my adult mods downloaded to one location and if possible I'd like to keep them all there so that I don't have to go hunting for something later.
