I assume you removed the original feet under the socks, so there there won't be an easy nifskope-one-click-solution for a version without socks?

No. I made the sock a separately equippable item, so there is an easy don't-put-on-the-sock-solution. I hope that will do. (this does mean that the sock doesn't work on it's own ... at all, even a bit ... like at all. Can't have it both ways)
