Buddy16 Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 Hey so I tried to make an Reshade preset for me but I failed hard so I'm looking for an Reshade preset that closely resemble the sims 4 graphics but more smooth but at the same time more sharper and not that blurred. also it should be almost the same lighting as the game had but some more warmth and not to dark rooms and nights
R-Lo Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 Hey! Maybe try from fresh and try not to change to many values, Some you may understand, I've no idea about half of it but some will be self explanatory like brightness and strength etc, To start with try..... Adaptive sharpen Colourfulness And if you turn off the edge smoothing from the game's options, Replace this with... FXAA SMAA some use the no glo/no blu mods for some more realistic tones too, http://luumiasims.com/post/142547484464/lumialoversims-i-was-made-aware-by-multiple It's working nicely for me and if you don't already have this it's worth checking out!
Buddy16 Posted March 1, 2018 Author Posted March 1, 2018 yah no glo/no blu is alread in my mod file since the day I heard about them. I tried already so many times but I always trashed my preset because after a minute or so I started to dislike it, it felt so wrong and not good looking at all. I also tried some other presets like remus https://remussirion.tumblr.com/post/161906779798/preset6-for-reshade-307-ts4-info-download but even the non dark version of that is too dark for my taste and I tried andromedas http://andromeda-sims.tumblr.com/post/170269031354/better-things-a-reshade-preset-for-ts4-a-rather which is much better but still somewhat dark . So I put my hands on both of them and tried to edit them but it wasn't working out the way I wanted, I couldn't make them brighter without ruining the look of them
R-Lo Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 Maybe try adding DPX too, I've found this can brightness up some situations, Also Technicolour 2 is quite lively
Buddy16 Posted March 2, 2018 Author Posted March 2, 2018 I'd give it a try later right now I'm fed up after hours of trying to find the perfect settings for me
