Large delay in Animations starting and Items equipping

In my current game I have noticed that very often when some kind of animation starts there is quite a long delay where both characters clothes unequip, they stare at each other in a locked potion for a minuet or so then the animations actually starts.

And also when equipping come devious items there is a similar wait where I click to put on the item, nothing happens for a minuet or so, then I am given the text box asking if I want to lock the item, manipulate the locks or not put it on. Or in another case when I added the armbinder, the item seemed to be put on my character but the thing where the hands disappear but seem to be normally by my sides and I could still use weapons (just with them hovering a few inches from the stump of the arm. Then a few minuets later the animation for it properly started and the lock on using them actually kicked in.

On other area I've noticed a similar issue (that may or may not be caused by the same problem) is with death alternative, where once knocked down much character would simply stay down and not get up at all even if they appear to have fully healed  with no enemies around.

For the Devious Devices delays it sounds like you have extreme script lag caused by too many scripted mods.  You many want to post a papyrus log of that happening.

However, for the above problem (Sexlab scenes taking an eternity) - try turning off the "Remove High Heels effect" option in Sexlab.  You have HDTHighHeels installed, and when that mod is installed Sexlab has to check ALL of the magic effects on the characters to make sure they are not wearing high heels that need to be disabled.  The player character can have hundreds of magic effects after a long playthrough, so it can cause real delays even if you aren't wearing high heels (Sexlab still needs to check for them).

If you really want Sexlab to detect high heels and fix the alignment problems they cause in scenes without the delay, you should consider uninstalling HDTHighHeels.  That does mean you'd need to convert any mod using it to use NIOHH instead, or remove them.  NIOHH does not cause any noticeable delays with Sexlab scenes and generally seems to work much more consistently than HDTHH.
