regarding the Tamango series of plugins

So this is the first time running with the Tamango stuff installed and it all seems to be working decently, although it does seem to have a negative effect on save games (sometimes the game freezes, requiring soft reset)and it really slows down the inventory screen load. Then again I'm running an old PC too so..

Anyway my questions begin with what is tamangoshop.esp supposed to do? I assumed there was a store or vendor somewhere I am to interact with, but haven't found it yet.

The other thing I'm finding dissapointing is that it doesn't work on the Vilja companion mod, which was actually the whole reason for me to install tamango, get the wife preggers. Has anyone found a way to get it to work on her? I can only assume it's due to her BSA file format.

I'm going to try adding a womb and ovum manually along with sperm, but that kind feels more like a OBGYN relationship rather than a marriage. Where did put that damn speculum anyway LoL?

Thanks Icecold, The readme helps explain it a bit, as well as a machine translation can(Always an entertaining read).

Moving Vilja around does nothing but cause me to rebuild the BP. I'm fairly certain it is because of the way she is packaged. Tamango doesn't recognize her inventory at all. Placing all the body bits into her inventory(womb,egg,sperm) does seem to work though, just can't conceive in a natural way. Works fine with all other NPC's though.

I may have to drop Tamango though, it seems to cause my game to freeze. Sometimes the script doesn't run when loading a savegame or after waiting/sleeping, and the game locks waiting for the script. I gonna try a few things first, but I'm not hopeful.

Well in my experience it does .Unfortunately you cant actually see vilja womb states without something like mad companions spells(MCS).By MCM I mean the mad companions spells AND extention available at LL.Also when she has sex with a male she will take sperm but again it cant be seen through her normal inventory spells etc.But with mad companions spells you see that she actually has recieved sperm and can see her womb,and womb state.also its impossible to know when she is ovulating without MCS and even if you fertilize one of her ova there is only about 25percent chance of fertilized egg actually becoming a gestating fetus.With the mad companions spells make sure u set disposition to free(doesn't interfere with her native ai),if you want the fun of raising vilja disposition through gifts and stuff.Use her normal command for wait,relax etc.If you tell her to relax with her normal commands and wait with mcm she will wait not relax.So just use trade and do free. It is because of two or more substance of NPC there, and changing into another NPC by the status.

In this, the possibility of the had one not to be succeeded to is high.

The attribute that Lovers is offering is composed of the item based on a special setting.

(It is a thing with a new version of the system that uses it. )

Because the possibility to be distinguished from usual things is high, these have the possibility not to be succeeded to.

Thanks for the reply and also for the PM alerting me to it. Unfortunately I decided to drop Tamango/hiyoko altogether. My PC just doesn't handle all the extra data well enough (old athlon64 1core)and Tamango has way too much data constantly updating. I will be updating to a quad core this weekend as soon as I decide on a more suitable VC for it.

As for Vilja, I actually am running MCS with the extender but like I said no womb, no sperm deposits, but she would report her ovulation cycles on request. For clarity, I am running version 4 vanilla of Vilja. Now If I placed a womb from a freshly slaughtered NPC into her inventory along with grade 5 or 6 sperm, she did get pregnant and would report it correctly. However even with a healthy ovulating womb in place, she would not receive semen through sex, only thru directly placing it in inventory. Sadly I did not run Tamango long enough to see if it would complete the term before realizing my PC couldn't handle Tamango ( it REALLY killed load times and often caused lockup, even caused corrupt saves)and running Colorwheels Oblivion overhaul only compounded the problem by makeing Cyrodills population about 85-90% female(WOOT!). Anyhoo, thanks for the advice, I'll give it another shot on the new system when it's up and running.

P.S.

I'm surprised you have Tamango running so high in the load order. I tried it High and low with no difference, ended up defering to Low based on Gregs suggested LO. Next time I'll load it high and see if that fixes Vilja.

Where the tamago club plugins are in your load order is really irrelevant as far as performance is concerned, provided they are up above the lovers plugins. It is all the scripts that are firing that causes the performance issues. Whether the mod is high or low makes zero impact on how\when the scripts run.

 

The reason I like to see them lower is that they are less susceptible to being overwritten the lower they are in the load order. Remember that in cases of conflict, the lowest plugin "wins". If you go back to using your companion plugin, try putting it up above lovers and tamago club and see if that doesn't fix things. There is no reason at all to have companion mods low down in your load order.
