StableBot Posted February 9, 2018 Posted February 9, 2018 I've been testing all day, but nothing seem to work. I'm almost certain that it's not because of mixing texture, since I use the same one (SG renewal). Mixing different texture or bad load order would have resulted in a greater disparity in color. I feel like it's something minor, something that slightly changes it, but not by a lot. I have fixed this problem before, but I forgot how I did it. If anyone have an idea, please comment, I'll try it out as soon as possible.
allsunday Posted February 9, 2018 Posted February 9, 2018 If you've tried everything, even changing the normals and specular maps (the files ending in _msn.dds and _s.dds) then don't forget the very last one: facetint! (Located in Skyrim\Data\textures\actors\character\FaceGenData\FaceTint\xxx). Of course, facetints are for NPCs and not the player character. Hell, I don't even know where the player character keeps his or her facetint file. No clue at all.
StableBot Posted February 9, 2018 Author Posted February 9, 2018 Yea, it's not my player, but a NPC. What I'm trying to do is merge a face I created onto another NPC, created by someone else. The follower got crazy custom skill set that I want, but I'm not ck shabby enough to import those skills and animations to the follower I already created. It shouldn't be FaceTint because it's the same FaceTint as my follower, which is the 2nd picture.
StableBot Posted February 10, 2018 Author Posted February 10, 2018 Tried again with Fair Skin Complexion from head to toe, still have a mismatch. Can someone explain to me what 1, 2 and 3 are for?
