Secret Ships

The Emma May And The Bloated Float

Lot of time ago, I saw the zap-pack on nexus.

It has been exposed with that nice area on the

ships and I wanted to play with that existing mod.

But inside the pack I have never seen such a location

and so I decided to integrate the beautiful ships of Oblivion

into skyrim. The Oblivion ships are so much cute, that I went on

to convert the existing meshes and I created doors and load-doors

for this mod to become true inside of skyrim. So this mod is indeed a

resource for ship-modding.

 

The mod contains two ships for now:

 

You can visit the "Emma-May", that name I grabbed from the "famous" "Emma-May Activator" of Oblivion,

that at the same time got to be a new resource for handcuffs and restraint-poles inside of ZAP. The original pole is also

overtaken, but I let the file static, as it has a very complicated animation, that I could not realize inside of skyrim.

But on the other hand, this resource spent some new stuff and it gave me the power to create this mod.

"Emma May"  is now a fine zaz-furniture extension for skyirm !

 

The second ship got it´s name from the sign, that I found inside the Olivion-folders, so called "Bloated Float".

I had in mind that this has to be a taverne and I found all suiting interieur inside of Oblivion. Beside, I found the 

ceiling- candeliers and I added another complicated candle-holder to get more Oblivion-feeling. All stuff, that is used

to implement such ship-mods, is inside of this pack and you are welcomed, to change or start with  an own mod with this stuff.

 

Inside of the taverne, you will meet 4 new npcs that are innkeeper, barde and two guards, as they can lock you away if you attack them.

The way out of the prison or gibbet is more hard than in normal prisons. You can not "sleep" the prison-time away, as the bed is not supporting that function!

The locked doors have their keys....

 

This mod is an eyecandy and brings back little atmo of the times of Oblivion.

You can "quick-travel" to that place or simply strole along the sea, and suddenly you will see the silouhette of the ships.

The "bloated-fload" has also a coc-marker for "hard-travel".

 

Future plan is, to make the girls "horny" (sexLab-dialogue-quest (next update)) and I want to check out my first quests for furniture-experiments with this mod.

Another idea is the addition of a ship as a player´s home. My question is where to put it??? As I prefer "whterun-city" as beloved area, I may be willing to put one of that boats

under the cliffs of the dragonsreach, into the water-pools...ggg (I´ll visually check that out, soon).

 

 

The download is existing of two files: The Secret Ships  and an override-mod against grey-faces for a CBBE-installation. If you have unp-body-models, you stay with only the main pack. Install it and everything should be fine. But if you play with CBBE-Version, you can go ingame and look, if the faces are okay, if not, you can try the override pack then. If this won´t succeed, you only can clean out the mod-loading order or reinstall skin-textures...the best choice is, to delete the facegeomdata inside of the texture- and mesh - folder and create new face-data by the creation-kit. For normal, the mod should show up correct face-tints.

 

New npcs:

 

Blue May (Innkeeper)/BOSS

Jo May (Barde)/BOSS

Sue May (Guard)

Zoe May (Guard)

 

This characters are unique and can´t be killed. Don´t steal things, buy stuff if you want. Rent a room/bed. They have night resting time and they are using the furnitures...

 

The mod is not ready but I decided to upload it because you may not like to wait any longer.

The nif-files are not all checked up, for now (this will be solved with a next update)...and that can cause CTD´s for now.

 

WARNING!!!

It is possible, that the mod causes 1 or 2 times behind each other a CTD while playing inside the cell-area !!!

With EEF you can let the followers stay, where u like. You can tell them to use any furniture u want. The chains are clutter amd will stay clutter, because the game needed such a stuff, specially the zap.

i mean when i re-enter cell follower wont use furniture anymore

Can this be solved by playing the PAH mod?

 

I could add a ship with fixed slaves, in cages and chains...but that scenario is fixed as long I don´t know how to work with quests properly. Nice would be, to pick up such slaves like cherries and later let them get inside the furniture again-everything best to be played by dialogues. One day I maybe can do such stuff. The zap has fully prepared quest-lines and I´m sure, that they can be used somehow. Maybe there´s a mod that uses the stuff: MEP has for example the whipping, the escort from and to cages and the becoming tied by an npc, zap offers this stuff exactly inside it´s framework - but I can´t use it for now - I´m fairly trying out a first quest in the next weeks, and I have to learn it by guides. At the moment, I have problems, how to reach a wanted quest and how to define it´s aliases and it´s scripts at their right places. I also can´t decide, if there´s a "scene" nessessary or if it works by dialogue alone. This questions must be solved somehow:-) A guide for using zap with quests would be very much wanted. I have no idea, why they (bethesda) made it so much complicated!

Thank you for your nice comments, I´ll add a player´s home in such a style (with your "whirlpool") and stuff that is useful...

ZAP8.0 plus is recommended.

 

1.) Such player´s home can now be independent added, as the resources are finally added.

In that case the "player´s home" needs this mod as a dependency.

2.) Otherwise I can create the player´s home independently- for all users, who do only like to install the player´s home.

In that case, the mod willask to over write the existing resource-material for all users, who want to have both mods.

I think the second version is more honest for those players, who only like to have the player´s  home.

Thanks for your nice reply-yes, those of you, who checked the mod will find out that it is something quite special - and the lower texture resolution is not affecting the skyrim gaming. I also love this stuff as it is really a unique mod, combined with the nice new furnitures. And maybe somebody else can create something new from this very special stuff, too. This would make me happy-of course! 

 

This stuff is too big in size to upload it on this page. The upload rate i have with MEGA is about 100kb/s. On LL i will only upload stuff with sizes about 20mb. But none of my mod has this small size. Please use OPERA or FIREFOX browsers for such a download. My internet is very, very slowly.

Just installed ZAP 8+ and also visited the ships

 

VERY nice!

 

Quick question.  Is the latest version supposed to be a 'player home'?  I thought that was what you implied up this thread, but the ZAP Normal chest showed that all the items I took from it were 'stolen'?  :smile:

 

As you suggested could happen, did have a CTD in the ship nearer to Whiterun, the Emma May, in the 2nd level down, but that's not too unusual in a first release of a 'new' mod

EDIT: Just had the chance to take another look at these.  They really are excellent.  Sensibly, the location doesn't conflict with many of the popular mods on the Lake - most of those being at the other end.  They would make great player homes

Hi, I´ll create a real player´s home from this material soon. The inn/taverne is of course no player´s home (same like you have in all of the taverns) ...but you could play here fine with some suiting quest-mods.

I must think about a cool location for the player´s home, as I personally like the whiterun area more (it´s like to be home there -for my gaming, because I was modding so much time the bannered mare...I wanted to stay always around there). Such a ship could also be replaced from the water up into the country-side, somewhere  - with a ladder to climb up it maybe a quite secure place against enemy and you can use the deck-area as balcony and maybe I can edit a mesh, to have a build in pool...but it should be something realistic at all...I´ll take care about that soon...I must get an suiting idea...
