Soulslayerzx Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 so ive had over 30 attempts at making this work, but very few of them have suceeded. I've been getting help from Jannicic to help me somehow convert my edited models for Skyrim, but somehow I can't get it to work on my computer. So, I'd like to know the steps for importing a model into skyrim. Doesn't matter whether blender/3ds max, a tutorial about either of them would be fine, a tutorial on how to get models exported from there INTO Skyrim*****, NOT an actual tut on how to use those programs. So, I was editing the female vampire lord a while ago when using Blender, exported as wavefront obj, import into nifskope replacing nitrishape with my obj, then changed the first number to the bslightingshader property that popped up, and it actually worked, but after that. Not a single time. So, I switched to 3ds max 2012 with the import/export .nif plugin, and apparently you need do something in nifskope after you export from 3ds max. I'd like to know what that is.

[/quote'] After Exporting from 3dsMax( Im Assuming u Have Import /Export Pulgins) You HAVE TO Delete the existing "bslightingshader property Branch" And Replace it with an existing "bslightingshader property branch" from an armor which works . You can set the texture paths after that . You Have to also set the BSDismemberSkinInstance to the relevant body part. Have a Look at the Pics For Example The no. 52 corresponds to the No. in the CK Biped Object as Well . There a comprehensive list on these Numbers In the CK Site. Cheers
