Item without inventory model

I need some explanation about armor mod or any item mod that lacks inventory / clutter model

e.g. wearable armor that have no model in inventory menu or smithing.

 

I have read somewhere that you shouldn't drop it. Out of curiosity, of course I have to try and drop it.

Poof... gone. Tried 'twf' to see if there is any invisible mesh I can pick up but nope... just floor.

The question is: will it linger in my save? or is it destroyed instantly? does it have negative effect if I do it often?

 

Also if it's not a very good idea to do it often... is there a mod to lock certain item from accident drop?

Yes.

If you do this very often - yes.

But game actually clear cells after some time, so it will affect your save only if you drop such items in not-respawn cells.

Thank you, kind sir. Last time I'm in Skyrim was 2015.

Totally forgot about 'favorite' item and didn't try that keyword during search.

Did some digging and found an alternative, in case someone else might want this too.
