New Vegas Main Menu doesn't show up

Whenever I start through fomm, the game shows some of the initial stuff like bethesda, obsidian, and then after ncr picture with no menu it just cuts ahead to the picture

 

and then it quits and the game closes. Any idea what could be causing this? I've tried setting it back to just the standard stuff you know fnv, fo3, and ttw.

What's weird is the other day the game was working fine, there wasn't anything I added to it that wasn't already there. So I'm not sure why now it's acting up.

Yeah same thing happened to me, I came here with the same issue and nothing said helped me. I had to reinstall the game

Probably you did something wrong with the Data\Menus folder, so if you don't have a backups for this folder, try to reinstall all mods that make changes in it. Like the MCM, Project Nevada, some of UI mods (vanilla ui plus, darnui, etc) if you using it, etc.

Also install the UIO - https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/57174/?. It can help you with backuping and patching a XML files from Menus folder.

just want to let you know new vegas plugin limit is 139-140 if you go pass beyond that your game will start messing up and glitch out
