Polyamorous Marriage

Hi Folks,

I'm not sure what I might be doing wrong here.

I have multiple sims that have proposed to another sim, but one of them is not able to marry.

I have one sim that, when I select it, says that you can't marry a sim in your employ (basically, but not the exact words).

The other of this pair gives me the option to marry, but when I select it nothing happens.
