Skin looks horrible in my game

I've had skyrim modded installed many years ago and didnt seem to have this problem I'm facing now. This is a fresh install, the problem is skin just looks bad in general for the females, even my player, they just don't seem to have the softness or whatever. I'm using revenant/realvision enb and I wanted to see if it was a skin or enb issue or perhaps something else so I downloaded a follower, liz from https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/80550/ and she should look something like https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/mods/110/images/80550-1-1488792376.png but in my game she looks like https://i.imgur.com/gfOPXPe.jpg and https://i.imgur.com/yjyqhzG.jpg which is pretty bad in my opinion. Any help figuring this out is appreciated.

Check the specular maps for your female textures. The .dds files that end in "_s.dds".  It clearly looks like you're playing with very high resolution textures whereas the original mod for the character was probably only 2k resolution or something.

ah those files are pure black.. so no shininess? That's odd then if thats standard yet the screenshots other people post are definitely showing shininess

Then maybe get a shiny one?  Lol, I'm not sure.  I use Demoniac's 8k specular maps and it's never failed me.  Looks awesome 24/7.  Try that one and see how it looks.  Another one I like is Mature Skin Texture.  Good luck.

If i were you i'd try a different enb. i think it's definitely a lighting issue. Or maybe your computer can't handle the enb? i dunno... i don't think i ever real vision enb, so i don't know if it's crap or not. It's popular, but sometimes popular can still be crap >.< also, i guess, make sure your .ini files are set up right for using enb.

Yea its the enb. I tried konan and it made a dramatic difference but now outdoors looks washed out. I think climates of tamerial has something to do with it.:\
