Task Manager displaying RAM usage wrong

First: Sorry for any spelling and other Mistakes, english isn't my first language

 

Now:

 

I have 16GB RAM, thats also what i see when i go to "System". But i just playede a game and watched a Video on the Net and according to my Task manager the RAM usage is at 61% but when i add everything together i am at approx. 5-5.5 GB. that should be far less than 60%, less than 60% even. What could cause this difference

Check for anything running in the background.  Remember that services also eat some ram.  Check the processes tab to see anything that doesn't show up on the applications tab.  Also,  remember that you may be calculating things differently than Task Manager
