youngkim77705
Hi I am working with win10 bootcamped on a MacBook pro and cannot get the Bethesda Archive Extractor to install. I'm interested in converting several skyrim armor/clothing sets to SSE, but cannot unarchive the bsa's. Are there other options for getting the loose files to convert them other than the Bethesda Archive Extractor? Looking for options Or if anyone wants to unarchive a BSA or two and send me the loose files as a favor LOL Thanks Young Link to comment
flatliner10
B.A.E. Does not require an installation. Just unpack the file from Nexus in a Folder and run the bae.exe ########### Edit : If you cant run bae.exe you are probably missing the Visual C++ 2013 Redist Look at Guide here: http://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:BAE Link to comment
youngkim77705
Thanks for the guide. I can't install the 2013 C++ distribution on my Win10 partition and attempting to use BAE gives me this error. Not sure what to do from here? Link to comment
Guest
Have you tried Quick BSA extractor? Like BAE, it doesn't require an installation and I don't think it requires the C+ distribution package....but I could be wrong since it's been a long time since I used it for the first time. youngkim77705
Thank you very much! That did it - ran the SSE nif optimizer on the meshes, repackaged and installed with NMM - no problem. Thanks so much Booceefus! Link to comment
