Dekusin Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 So I download this: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/22181 Nice and all, but there´s a clipping issue between the legs and body when the cloth/cuirass is equipped, very evident when you unequip the Skirt. Any Idea of what the hell is happening ? ...Im using Ashen race v2.0
gregathit Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 I am no blender expert....far, far from it in fact! However, what he has done is made the skirt separate from the cuirass mesh. Who cares you may say. Well, this makes the skirt act like an amulet, so I don't think it will scale worth a crap, and it may tend to clip even worse. What I think needs to be done is have the skirt merged in blender with the cuirass make a few adjustments to help with any minor leg clipping and it should be perfect.
Guest Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 It should scale if the skirt mesh has a working weightslider the fact that he seperated it from the cuirass and made it an extra armor piece has nothing to do with the skirt's clipping issues, it just uses a different equip slot now.

[/quote'] Assuming that it does in fact have a working weight slider.... It makes no sense to me why he would separate the skirt. Even if it has a weight slider for it you are then messing with it to get it to line up with the cuirass. Seems like a total waste. Anyways, the why and how are irrelevant. To get rid of the clipping means using blender or 3dsmax to make some tweaks.
