Hentaiface Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 "Yay, Origin Sale!" I thought when I saw that the Sims 4's DLC Prices are lowered. I thought the "Get to Work" DLC would include the possibility of playing in a school, but when I look at its screenshots, this doesn't seem to be the case. Now I am undecided if I should still buy it. On the other hand, are there other Must-Have DLCs for Sims 4? I already own the Big City and Vampires DLC, so should I buy "Get to Work" or something else?
Simite Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 You're right, there's no official school or college or uni setting/locations in any of the DLC. GetToWork is definatly good in its own right since it allows 3 careers where you go to the workplace with your sims, as a Doctor/Police/Scientist. Each has their own unique features and unlockables and really do make for some good fun, not to mention with a bit of know-how you can change the layout of these job locations in build mode and have your own sex dungeon under the police department if you wished too, that criminals could go into from their jail cells but could still not escape. Not that I've done this (I have totally done this.) I also understand there was a mod that used the feature of the get to work expansion for some sort of university or go to school but I'm not sure if its up to date. From my understanding pets will be the last major DLC for sims4 and modders might come back to their old projects.

Simite Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 It is still possible they will return to the project or someone else might bring it back, maybe not but its worth holding out hope. Like I pointed out you can still have a lot of fun with the get to work stuff with the mods that are up-to-date. The other game packs you don't have is parenting and pets. Pets is amazing for all the types of cats and dogs you can create but I always feel cheated by maxis and their lack of additional content. In terms of additional game play the get to work has the most, parenting brings toddlers into the mix which honestly if you can avoid it and want too, you should. (edit: however if you want parenting then you would probably want the toddler stuff pack too, another one of those times I felt cheated of content without the extra stuff pack.)
