Call Girl Job Idea

I have an idea for a mod that shouldn't be too difficult for the talented modders around here to make. I just have no idea how to go about doing so.

 

Basically the way I want the mod to work is that a custom interaction with the cell phone (register or un-register as call girl) that attaches or removes a custom flag to the sim that performed that interaction. 

 

From that point on, the sim is a working call girl and can randomly get calls inviting them out on dates that function more or less identically to the active dates already in game, only alter the rewards gained from success to cash (or something like a 'customer review' item that only exists to be sold for cash if a direct payment isn't possible from events like that) Like, a gold star could be worth $1,000 while a silver or bronze is more like 500 or 250 respectively. More pay for more satisfying dates basically.

 

I figure that can be accomplished by more or less copying the date event that's already in the game and removing the romantic relationship requirement and replace it with a requirement for the call girl flag. So pretty much any and everyone can call a call girl for a date (and you never know who will call for your services next)

 

I know there's already a functioning 'money for woohoo' mod, but it's kind of cumbersome to use. This mod idea seems like it would be a bit more engaging and fun to actually use. Kind of like an active career, but not.

 

So...yeah, are any of you skilled modders willing to try and make something like this? Or, alternatively, can you point me toward resources and tutorials to learn how to make it myself? I've tried looking for such information on google, but the best I can find when I try to search for sims 4 modding tutorials is 'put the .package file in the mod folder'....not exactly helpful

There isn't a tutorial for exactly what you want to do but a bunch of things you will encounter along the way if you do decide to create this.
