Game freezing during start of slavery

Recently my game is freezing(and ultimately CTD) whenever I go through the process of being enslaved, sold at an auction, going through the loading screen, and popping up with my owner. After 4 or 5 seconds, my game freezes and then crashes. I've tried increasing my defaultHeapInitialAllocMB(incrementally by 256), reinstalling mods, running LOOT & FNIS, all to no avail. 

 

Could it be that the game is trying to run too many scripts at once? Could it possibly be a mod conflict? If it's any help at all, I can still hear sound from the game when it freezes. Any help would be greatly appreciated, here's my mod list.
