Zenik Posted December 16, 2017 Posted December 16, 2017 Hey guys I just recently finished building a new computer and got done transferring my modded Skyrim game over, but of course Skyrim is a fickle PoS... Although I do suspect some of these issues have cropped up because of Windows 10. (I'm unable to verify this 100% since I sent off my laptop for an RMA.) Anyways the issues I'm running into now are as follows; Completely green blurred screen while looking underwater/swimming. The mod "Green Water Fix" does remedy the issue, but I lose the "blur" effect that I'm used to seeing while underwater, and while that's fine I feel its masking the root of the problem. This happens in my modded game and on a fresh install. ENB Binary .272, Elder Blood Gen 3 Quality has lost all Depth of Field effects. I'm assuming these two issues are related since they both deal with "blur" effects, and the "Green Water Fix" or other workarounds for that issue basically remove Depth of Field from Skyrim. If it matters here are my computer specs; Windows 10 Pro, 64 Bit 16gb C14 3200mhz Ram i7 8700k GTX 1080ti Any help is greatly appreciated!
AgentCarolina Posted December 16, 2017 Posted December 16, 2017 It could also be an ENB thing. Use the 319 binary/whatever the latest is and see if the problem still persists
farlibarcai Posted December 16, 2017 Posted December 16, 2017 You can use the 319 binary but needs the "enbeffectprepass.fx" files to be re-named to "enbdepthoffield.fx" and check the floating point value as stated.
Zenik Posted December 16, 2017 Author Posted December 16, 2017 Wasn't able to try the new binary before I fixed it. Lol Turns out I had a dxgi.dll in my Skyrim directory. It's a DirectX file I had to find when I was helping a friend set up his modded skyrim since he would crash without it when using ENB. I guess I put it there assuming I would need it so since the source I got it from was on a Win 10 ENB support thread somewhere. I really should have remembered the old saying "if it ain't broke don't fix it". Lol Thanks for the responses guys!
