Microsoft removes HEVC (H.265)... where to get it back?

In theory it still is in the store, the problem is that i can't access this store. I can visit that site https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/p/hevc-video-extension/9n4wgh0z6vhq just fine, but when i click at "Get the app", the store opens and tells me that i don't have Internet. I've googled about that problem and couldn't find any solution that would fit. Most often they recommend to disable using proxys, but that already is disabled... honestly i don't really care about that store, i just want this codec, if i can't get anything else there i'm fine with that.

So... any source would be fine if somebody knows one, fixing the store would be ok too, though. :)

The same codec should be available on reputable sites elsewhere. I'd simply google for it.

I did, all i get are different links to the microsoft store...
