I'm new around here, and I'm a little confused- maybe I just haven't found the proper sources that I need to read, or they're just not around. So, I thought I would make a post and ask some questions. First: What is Lovers with PK? I get that it's a sex mod for Oblivion, but what does it add? What I've gotten so far is that it adds animation / texture resources and an API of some sort to the game, while not actually doing anything on it's own. Plugins are done to actually specify the sexual behavior of the player character and NPCs. Am I right? Mostly right? Horribly, horribly wrong? Can different texture and models still be applied over the ones in this version (Such as slof's Boners! or Robert's Better Bodies?) How does it function with Sexlivion? Does Sexlivion become mostly useless with this mod? What about other animations, such as Slof's Sexy Animations? Finally, I've seen a few posts, but how well do most of these plugins work for m/m encounters? Edit: Woop, another question! Is this sub-forum still active, even? heh. gregathit Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 Yes it is active (this forum). However, it varies on how active at times, as our members are scattered all over the world. Lovers with PK is indeed a sex system for oblivion. As such, you can not use it at the same time as Sexlivion. Sexlivion doesn't have anywhere near the features, functions, or animations that PK does. There are no textures or meshes included in lovers with pk as it assumes you will download those separately. Many plugins do require MBP (modular beautiful people) which has a thread on where to get and how to install here: http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=1602 Pick whatever body and textures you like and slof's v5 boners works fine. There "are" boners built in but slof's v5 are better. You will need to enable slof's v5 boners using the lovers settings spell and it will automatically use them without you having to do anything more. As to what it adds: The core adds nothing much. The plugins....well there are six pages worth in the download section and each has a description of what it does. You have everything from consensual sex to rape and even sexual slaving thrown in. There is F/M, M/M, F/F and creature sex.

It provides the framework for plugins that allow everything from consentual sex, to slavery to bestiality, to any number of other deviant pleasures. There are a whole host of things it can do, from "plain ol' sex" to "pregnancy mod" to "holy crap, a zombie is going to rape me until I die!" It all depends on what you install. Some mods are incredibly elaborate - like Claudia's Little Secret, which is actually a standalone "offshoot" that uses it's own version of the lovers system, as far as I can tell, to small mods that just add a small feature. It really does depend on what you want to install, and what you want it to do. Can different texture and models still be applied over the ones in this version (Such as slof's Boners! or Robert's Better Bodies?) Yes, it's compatible with a wide variety of bodies, textures, and what have you. Setting those up to work with lovers is covered by a few tutorials on the forums here and there. How does it function with Sexlivion? Does Sexlivion become mostly useless with this mod? What about other animations, such as Slof's Sexy Animations? It is incompatible with Sexlivion, and you have to be careful about any other idle mods you use, and the load order they have, so as not to conflict with lovers. Mods in Oblivion are VERY load order dependent, especially ones which modify the game system as heavily as lovers. It's definitely not compatible with Sexlivion, however. Finally, I've seen a few posts, but how well do most of these plugins work for m/m encounters? Edit: Woop, another question! Is this sub-forum still active, even? heh. I've seen some m/m encounters from PCs via Joburg, here and there, but I'm not really into that, myself. I'll make sure to find the tutorials ^^ I'm used to being on forums where people aren't all in the same time zone, it's kind of funny to have people posting about lunch when you're just going to bed.
