What exactly is CLS?

Hi, I've spend some time reading the forums, but I couldn't really what find what CLS is exactly. I've figured it's a mod with adult content but not much besides that. I've steered clear of the official guide thread, fearing there might be spoilers if I eventually decide to try the mod out.

So what's it about?

1) Is it a standalone module (totally new campaign) or just a quest chain in the main game?

2) How much adult content there is?

3) Is it only adult content or is there fighting, and if there is, how much of it?

4) Does it have strong narative?

5) How long it is?

6) Is it better to play with male or female character?

Sorry if I'm being a pain with all these questions

1) Is it a standalone module (totally new campaign) or just a quest chain in the main game? New quest chain not connected to main quest.

2) How much adult content there is? Loads

4) Does it have strong narrative? Yes

5) How long it is? very long

6) Is it better to play with male or female character? Doesn't matter which.

Seriously? Just read the mod description

Seriously.

The description on nexus is basically - it's a big mod with adult content.

I've just come across this and I had absolutely no clue what's it about. So what's clear as glass to you is completely unknown to me.

I've read the description and a few threads here but couldn't find that information, so I asked few simple questions that would take about 30 seconds to answer for someone who's played the mod. Thanks for taking the time to answer them.

Do I need anything else for the mod? Some nude bodies, patches besides official ones, scripts, that sort of thing or is all included in the mod main files.

Hi Lordrango,

Thanks Ark & Razarkis!

CLS is a story by itself. Best is to start a new game with prefereably a female toon and play it from start to end.

That should give you several real days of playing and if you take your time not rushing through the quest, you will enjoy it a lot more discovering tons of hidden contents.

You don't need anything that you can't find packed in CLS runtime but a good body mod that fits your needs is always welcome. Especially because of the numerous screenshots you are going to take and post on the Nexus page of CLS and here so we can all enjoy your progression through the mod ;)

Enjoy and my very first recommendation will be to backup your Oblivion, go slowly step by step for a maximum experience!

1) It is standalone, but not a complete overhaul (so you CAN play the rest of the game with it installed). It is suggested that you keep a save prior to playing it, though (remember the golden rule: backups!).

2) There is a lot of adult content, with animations sometime involving more than the standard 2 people of xLovers or other mods. The animations are also pretty much unique to this mod.

3) There is some fighting, but not too much as to be a pain or require a powerful character.

4) Yeah.

5) It's very long, more than a few hours.

6) It makes more sense to play with a female character, in my opinion.

We can't tell you what the storyline is about without spoiling it... So, all I can say is, try it out. It's worth it.

Edit:

Woops, looks like Grumpf replied while I was typing. :P
