Guest Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 I really like the Ixia armor (http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/41768). But the normal breast size for BnB just doesn't match up, maiking it kind of odd to use this out fit with. Anyone know of a BnB body that'll come close to matching this without any issues? Tried using the smaller BnB plugs but the breast keep getting odd visuals do to the size difference with BnB Skeleton. I was going to simply mod this to match but having technical issues. On a side note are there Facial expressions that are supposed to happen in Sexout?? I've only ever seen 1, when my PC got raped by a mantis. Not sure if I have accidentally overwritten this when I installed Lings, but that may be the case.
prideslayer Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 1. Link doesn't work.. use the url/link button in the editor or put a space before the ')' at the end. 2. BnB skeleton (astymmas compat skeleton actually, I hope) does not have a different 'size'. Take a screenshot of the 'odd visuals'. Chances are it's not from what you think it is.
Guest user29 Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 If it's the ixia armor I did conversions of, it's most closely based on the cali body. The cali body is bnb but I think you want the bigger boobs if I'm not mistaken? In which case you're just kinda out of luck. You could always convert the ixia outfit to the bnb body you like however.
Guest Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/41768 The visual isn't a problem just looks odd... like the breast will stay to far down or to high up, only if I stop moving all together. Best way to describe it is if you pinched a girls nipples then pulled up or down and held them in that position. Again it's not a problem just looks odd. Yeah I tried to edit the clothes to fit... the Top ended up being near 2ft above the character... as far as I could tell it did work other than that. (I suck at modding)

[/quote'] Whatever shape the breasts have, they're coming entirely from the armor/clothing mod. The body you have doesn't matter, and neither does the skeleton. You can uninstall both, install the outfit, and see for yourself.
Guest Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 Wait what... so the armor is dependent on the body? basicly If I do this it'll change to match the Skeleton and Femalebody meshes? The breast only do that when nude, should have said that to begin with.

The breast only do that when nude' date=' should have said that to begin with. [/quote'] The exact opposite is true. Armor and clothing usually includes the body as part of its mesh. If you were to put armor made for the BNB Giant body on a Skinny T6 body, you'd have the BNB Giant shape. The only time it matters is when the armor or clothing doesn't include the body when you get clipping such as "separates" like just jackets or jeans or shoes or belts and such when the item doesn't include the body mesh. The body you have installed is only shown when you are nude or when wearing a separate item that doesn't include a body mesh (which is rare). In all other cases you're seeing the body mesh included as part of the armor or clothing mesh. Parts of the body getting "stuck" in a position is the result of an animation animating the breasts and then those bones NOT being reset before playing a new animation that doesn't animate the breasts. You are probably using one of the custom idle animation improvers from the Nexus that don't use the BnB Skeleton. I'd suggest installing all of the BnB animations again.
Guest Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 Ah ok... so I'd have to reverse engineer the outfit in order to make it fit the BnB size (it does have the body attached, think it was meant for Type 3 Berry).
prideslayer Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 What astymma said. The body is not in any way dependent upon the armor, and the armor is not dependent upon the body. The only place where they "interact" is that any parts of the armor that are cut away or see-through, the texture of the body will be used -- but the actual body model is not. The only items that don't include a body mesh are non-upperbody items like hats/masks, weapons, etc. Most all clothes (outside some esoteric packs) are upperbody items.

[/quote'] Yes. Import the clothing mesh, resize the breasts to be how you like, then export it. The body isn't "attached", it's part of the clothes. When you wear clothes, your body is entirely hidden/removed, and the body mesh is shown -- with the body texture when appropriate.
Guest Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 I tried this in Nifscope but Like I said what I ended up seeing was the Jacket Floating above my head nearly 2ft. Guess I need more practice at this... the other problem was that 3 different pieces make up the Jacket... Arm bands are part of the jacket so I couldn't delete them without deleting the jacket. So how do I export Nifscope so Blender will read it? (forgot how)
astymma Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 If it makes it easier to understand, try thinking of it this way: All worn items are assigned a slot or slots to occupy on the body. When you are nude the default body is assigned to the upperbody slot, the default hands to the right and left hand slots and the default head to the head slot... this constitutes a complete body. The typical armor or clothing is assigned the upperbody slot and includes everything but the hands and head just like the nude body does. When you wear this armor or clothing it replaces whatever is currently being worn on the upperbody slot which would be your nude default body.

(forgot how) You can left click the jacket mesh in the nifskope window so it is selected, then right click it and choose transform>edit and then move it down in the z coordinate in the "translation" section of the edit window til it matches up correctly.

I did this... but it still was way off in game. After a quick experiment I can see that if I try this again it'll have issues... 1. The arm cuffs or whatever will be way off the arms. 2. The boots are part of the legs.
