pmtmom
What folder in Sims 4 Electronic Arts on my computer do I download the celebrities to? Is it the mods folder? How do I find the downloaded celebrity when I am in the game? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Link to comment

The Packed celebrity folder contain Mods and which goes to mods folder(Rename it so it won't get overwritten if you play to download more than one) and files named with numbers. These "number files" copy to tray folder in Electronic Arts\Sims 4\tray folder. Open the game .In the library there should be the celebrity you have download it . Link to comment

Open the game .In the library there should be the celebrity you have download it . Thanks Robbie for explaining it out.. This is a link to my Setup Page on my website, there I have very detailed instructions/help for anyone having problems getting everything set up.. You're welcome to check that out pmtmom as I have details for everything you asked right there... Basically though to answer your question.. * There are 2 folders you need to worry about.. Once you download one of my files and extract it, inside it you will see 5 or more numbered files and 1 folder named MODS... Everything not inside that MODS folder are your Tray files. Those files go into your Tray folder, usually located in your computer at C:/......Electronic Arts/Sims 4/Tray....Once you copied those files into your Tray folder you can open up the MODS folder.. Now.... In there I organised everything for you to make it the easiest I could... So I suggest you set up your Mod folder the same way... meaning... inside "your" Mod folder, make a folder for hair, for makeup, clothes, scripts etc.. however you want really but the key here is NOT TO HAVE DUPLICATE FILES/CC... that will slow your game down alot.... Also this way if you download more than 1 of my models, you can easily COPY & REPLACE anytime you get the same files from a download.... Thats my suggestion on how you "should" have things set up.... So lets you say you follow my good advice.... Open up the MODS folder from one of my downloads and just copy all the files from each folder in there (hair, clothes etc) and copy them into your Mods folder, usually located in your computer at C:/....Electronic Arts/Sims 4/Mods .... Remember to copy and replace any duplicate files... and also that those sub-directories inside you Mods folder can only be 1 folder deep (meaning it should look like C:/.... Electronic Arts/Sims 4/Mods/Hair... or /Mods/Clothes... any folders/files deeper than that wont be recognized by the game.. * Secondly once everything is copied and put in the right place.... Load up the game.... Open up your in game library..... Select households..... Make sure that on the left hand side, near the bottom of the page under the advanced tab, the option for including custom content is Enabled..... and you should see them in your list then. Hope that helps to those having similar problems! If not check out that link on my website..... or just let me know - happy to help Link to comment
