I've tried this months ago using the AIO that no longer seems to exist, got it to work for a bit, though not very good, now trying to do it without AIO to make it work better. The Tools I've used: I'm using Wrye bash 300 (standalone), OBSE v20, BUframework v2, and pluggy 132 dev. Using Lovers rev. 91 from the Quick install guide, as well as the Wrye bash picture guide, and the BOSS settings/userlist linked to in that thread. And the Plugin list that was linked there. First problem: I've found is that I got the game running, but I wasn't getting that basic lovers spell that lets you change the options, like for progression settings, not sure why, nothing was complaining. I can't share my load order right now because I kinda rage-quit and deleted everything, and currently putting it back together again. The important first question: I noticed something I guess could be the problem: Looking at Lovers with PK extender, the version for rev 91 needs Adult play plus, while the rev. 94 version needs the SSP one, which I'm trying to use. That thread mentioned something about needing to change it's master to SSP using Wrye bash, but not really how, and wrye bash didn't complain about it, so I don't know. Extra Question: Is the AIO I got of MBP++/x117 race all I need to get people nude, or do I need something else for nude bodies and stuff? I remember the complete AIO I used before had a setbody spell that got nude bodies on me, which I was also missing. After I get the important first question answered, I will see if things work, and if not, will have the lord order ready to share. Also had a crash upon exit, though I'm not worried about that. Unless I should be?

The very first thing that needs to be addressed is if you are running Win7 or Vista, have you installed steam to the default location (in the program files directory)? If so then you need to get steam the hell out of there as you will fight both UAC and windows permissions till the end of time. You can move steam without having to reinstall all of your games and here is how: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=7418-YUBN-8129 2. Decide what version of lovers with pk you are going to run. Personally I recommend sticking with version 91 as all mods are compatible with it. The jury is still out on whether older most function correctly with v94 or v96 of lovers. 3. If you decide to go for v94 or v96 of lovers then you need to make sure you get the patches for lovers extender for it. 4. Renaming the masters with wrye is really easy: A. Left click on the lovers extender plugin to highlight it, now look over to the far right side of wrye bash and find the masters list box (should be mid right side). B. Right click on the master file your want to change the name to and select "change to". C. Now find the adultplayplus version you want via the box that pops up, select it and hit "open". D. Once you are back to Wrye Bash look down towards the bottom of the masters box and find the two buttons that say "save" and "cancel". Click the "Save" button. E. You are done MBP is a passive mod. That means it doesn't do a damn thing. It is just a resource for other plugins to draw from. You do need to get a male and female body if you want nude toons. For males I recommend Roberts: http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/40532 For females I recommend HGEC: http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/34442 I recommend you install the no animations version and then install Fore's excellent animations: http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/35551 for bouncing breasts Lastly you need growlf's universal skeleton (use the controllable version): http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/37596 I recommend you install the body mods above (along with the animation mod if you so choose) and then install MBP 1.4a (or MBP 1.8) then MBP++ v98 - or even better find an OMOD of MBP complete with x117. Install your skeleton mod. Fire up your game and see if it works. If so then: Stop and make a backup (you can compress it to save space). Keep this backup and never loose it. Burn it to DVD if you need the HD space. Now install whatever other game mods (non lovers one's) you want. After every couple start the game and see if you can play without crashing. Make a backup after every couple of sets so if something goes wrong you don't loose too much time. When your game is where you want it then start a new character and make a save outside of the dungeon. Exit the game and now install your lovers plugins. Pay close attention to plugins dependencies and any incompatibilities. Enable your chosen lovers plugins and load up your clean save and enjoy yourself. Cheers, Greg

While I might suck at getting this to work, dealing with windows is easy. 2. I was gonna use v91 because it was easy to find from the quick install guide, I don't know what the later versions do. 3. Thank you so much for recommending links! I was having massive trouble with this part! The MBP that I tried to use is this AIO I found: Mbp ++ allin1 omod v2.1beta (http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=3812) When you say to install the body mods, then MBP, that just means I have to make sure the body mods are higher up on the installers tab of Wrye bash? And I don't plan to use any non-lover mods (Unless you include the unofficial patch, which this needs anyway?)
gregathit Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 The unofficial patches are not required for lovers. If you are not using OOO or FCOM then do use the unofficial patches as they can help to keep your game stable. Some lovers plugins do require shivering isles however! If you have already install MBP no worries, just install your body mods and keep going. Some other utilities I recommend are OSR (oblivion stutter remover) and Streamline. Both can be found at the nexus. OSR will help manage your memory better than the base game will, and Streamline will replace your autosaves (be sure to turn off autosaving in the oblivion settings as it is buggy and can cause save game corruption. NEVER quicksave for any reason. Either let streamline do its periodic saves or do a manual save yourself. Even if you "have" dealt with UAC, the permissions part of being in the program files directory can still bite you in the ass. Not even administrator mode can overcome this. It is your call however. Also, don't forget to use OBMM to archive invalidate via bsa redirection after you get your body mods installed.

Just be aware that if you have problems getting bodies/textures/armors and the like to show then you may need to do it. Uninstall that archive invalidation mod. It is very old (last update 2008) and OBMM does it far better. You will notice the section on bsa-invalidation (which is what that mod does) and why it is flawed.

I guess I would at least need it for the few files I'm putting in that wrye bash can't pick up in the installers tab, like the SSP.esp we talked about earlier, so I was sticking it into the data area manually, and then it showed up in the mods tab of Wrye bash. Edit: Ok figured out OBMM, since the Female skin and BBB doesn't seem to work for Wrye bash. I should have everything I need now, and will be testing it soon. Edit 2: Ok, new problem. I have just the Body mods on, none of the lovers stuff on yet, and made the bash patch, and did the mod checker. It's telling me that Knights.esp needs to be cleaned with TES4edit, which I did the first time earlier, before rage quitting from something else. But now that I've moved Steam out of program files, TES4edit can't find oblivion anymore.

gregathit Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 If the file is OMOD ready (.7z), that is different from being an acutal OMOD (.omod) file. Last I knew, Wrye Bash could not install them. There has been a new Wrye Bash version that came out, so maybe that has changed. When you moved the steam apps folder did you then reinstall steam and allow it to go online? That is important! Also do NOT clean knights.esp! It is never a good idea to alter the vanilla files in any way. UOP contains all the fixes you need so in this particular case tell tes4edit to go jump in the lake...

I may not of been missing the basic settings spell during my first attempt after all, it's just been renamed to something else and isn't as high up. whoops. Got a few new problems though. The one thing you mentioned about changing the master for the extender, it seems it was already set to SSP somehow afterall, but I did get the rev. 91 version of extender. I tried changing it just in case, but when I do, the option to press the save button goes away, guessing it didn't actually change. But this is the plugin that adds a sort of sex level to the game, right? Can't find the option to turn it on, or atleast, I'm not getting the extra HUD elements that I remember a long time ago with the AIO, but I'm getting the hud elements from tamago club hud and Aphrodisia. Also looking at the sample load order on the quick install guide, at the bottom is some 3d orgasm things, which I couldn't find in the plugin list, or via search. All them load orders that are asked for don't make it easy >_> Edit: I managed to find 3Dorgasm1.0.rar here, http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=1485. This the latest/only version? Edit 2: Played with it a bit more, seeing if there are more problems, and wondering how the BU framework really works. Selected the major mods with it randomly, and also changed progression settings to space like extender asks. got someone and started to do a consensual act, but my character didn't undress at all, still wearing all armor, and while the dialog reacted to me increasing the speed, the animation didn't, and it never ended. Does BU only work if I got special BU related armors? Won't bother with it if so. gregathit Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 BU framework actually has nothing at all to do with lovers, rather it is the core program for Break Undies armors. What it does is as the armor takes damage it visually degrades until your or whoever is wearing the armor becomes exposed (naked or partially naked depending on how the armor is setup). You can disable BU framework if you decide not to use breakable armors (you have to download them separately). Link to armors and more info on them: http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=9 Make sure you have MenuQue (link in pk extender OP) and make sure you have sex progression set to manual or pk extender will not turn itself on. You set sex progression to manual via the lovers settings spell (sexual exploits). While you are at the pk extender download thread read the entire OP and note the control keys to start sex, progress through stages and so forth. On your load order, choose one or the other of these two: 36 Lop-ears Elf.esp <---same elves with lop ears. 37 Lop-ears Elf_mini.esp <---same elves just with mini lop ears. Otherwise your load order looks fine. On the 3dorgasm - you do not need this for lovers to function. It is completely optional. It adds a sperm deal at the end of sex. However the sperm looks more like jelly beans than liquid. Try it out and if you like it then keep it. To get your toons naked, you need to adjust your settings again with the lovers settings (sexual exploits) spell. You can adjust what armor comes off for men and women for consensual and rape sex.

I found that things with a gray highlight in the installers tab couldn't install fully, so I got menuQue to work right now. Seems like everything is finally working, except I'm not getting the dialogue while being raped by creature. Could it be cuz I'm using Shadow's xloversrapers? I remember having this dialogue when I had the AIO. Could also be because I'm not using Joburg...? Also noticed that I don't have the creatures sexual organs that's red in the Sample load order.

I know that Galgat's version of RaperS added some really funny stuff when you got raped so perhaps that was it. Joburg I "think" has some calls for dialogue but I honestly don't remember. Creatures sexual organs is not required. It is optional to give many of the creatures a penis during sex. If you do decide to grab and use it make sure you merge it into a bashed patch and leave it disabled.

Oh well, I can do without, exercise my imagination a bit more. Managed to find several links of the sexual organ stuff after a bit, but none of them work. I got lovers bitch though so at least the dogs got something. I remembered the organs for everything else weren't that great looking anyway. So can do without that too. Well, everything is finally working for me, Thank you so much for all your help! Thought I was gonna go crazy for a good while before I finally got the courage to post. Nothing out there that can compare to Oblivion and lovers working together. Until maybe the day when something like this is out for Skyrim, hopefully I won't have as many problem when going there, when it exists. ^.^;;
