You play as a breeder (male or female) of half-human, half-creature races called Nephelyms.  There are two types: Elites and Ferrals.  Only the ferrals you capture, breed, and make money selling them or their milk or semen.  You can breed with both, but the ferrals are the only types you can also breed with other ferral Nephelyms.
