Guest Lady Luck Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 idk , my isp sucks so u know i had reason to dislike steam , not that i hate it i always used my boyfriend laptop when i want speed so now hes away with the army atm , i cant do nothing about just sit he had one of them business package dongles that has like full speed, dont u just love comcrap oops i mean comcast , its rare to see comcast router have this speed today 9 hours isnt that bad comparing to downloading other games that took me half a day just to get it, man i hope the patch isnt big for the recent release

The community sucks. Thats not to say that everyone is bad as there are some very decent people there, but the majority are just try-hards and trolls, and the clans just make the cheater problem worse by sheltering those types and claim they don't cheat. Then you come across the fools that think you cheat just cause you spanked em:     Or the guy openly admitting he cheats:   ^too cool for school   Its literally like a bunch of teens trying to be cool in high school.  The matchmaking is broken, if youre gold the supposed solution to getting clan opposition (vs. a pub group) is to join a crappy try-hard clan. You will frequently get opped against clans with half or more carrying OSMAWS.  New player? Enjoy getting opposition way higher than your skill level and getting rolled every time! This is further made worse by the segregation based on your ranking and the fact that you can tank matches to lower your threat from say gold to bronze no matter how long you've played the game.  They literally seem to have done little to fix the performance issues with the game, there are countless people with high end PC's that have terrible performance issues. Even simple stuff like friends who are actually onliine not showing up on your friend list still has yet to be fixed after a year or more of being borked. Even mouse acceleration is broken and causes your mouse to skip fairly large gaps on the screen.  It's a real cesspool. That said, the gameplay is fun, if a bit twitchy. The customization is probably what keeps everyone around, and arresting fools is fun, but I have no confidence in G1 to fix things properly. And I just can't be bothered when the community is so bad, and I've been there for over a year (Rank 150 Cop 14) so I think I've got a good idea of how it is (mostly) over there.  I play every once in a while, but there are better things to waste the time away on.

If you need help with your projects like testing, a second opinion on something or scripting you know where to find me. I have been practicing my Filipino so I can read most things at the moment  I have also got bandicam installed to make some videos for us. I am about 5 levels of rocket launchers ohhhh and I have some goodies for you when you login game next Mai.  I wouldn't of been able to play anyway. My keyboard was smashed to pieces yesterday so had to get another one. The timezone difference isn't really much of a issue on the scale of things.
